THE ESIMI TOTE
A work bag for the woman who wants more from what she carries.

Esimi means “work” in Okere.
But work is rarely just what we do.
It can be purpose. Responsibility. Creativity. Ambition. The life we are building—and all that we carry with us along the way.
The Esimi Tote was created with that woman in mind.
"This isn’t a bag designed simply to carry more. It is a bag designed to make what you choose to carry feel considered."

Designed by Design by O.H. in Maryland and crafted in New York City, Esimi is a limited-production leather work tote that brings together thoughtful function, beautiful materials, skilled craftsmanship, and a story rooted in Ghanaian heritage.
Inside, sections of handwoven Ghanaian kente introduce something unexpected: the work of another pair of hands and another story of craft.
A removable laptop bag and thoughtfully considered compartments are designed for the realities of a working day, while the moderately structured pebbled-leather exterior allows Esimi to move beyond the office.
The First Edition
Only 25 Esimi Totes will be produced in this first edition.
We are not quite ready to reveal the finished bag. For now, we’re inviting a small group of women to discover Esimi as its story unfolds.
Join The Esimi List via our newsletter pop-up for private updates, behind-the-scenes glimpses into its making, stories of the artisans, and first access when the Esimi Tote arrives in December.
What are you carrying?
Some things are practical. Some are personal. And some remind us of where we’ve been, what we’re building, and who we’re becoming.
Esimi was made to carry all three.
